For Airbus in Hamburg within Communication & Social Media Management, department Service Transition, we are looking for a working student for 12 months.Within the Airbus Information and Communication Technology sector, the Service Transition department is responsible for the transfer of business-related IT services to the Airbus Engineering departments. The chosen method for doing this is IT Service Management based on best practices from the IT Infrastructure Library. Through this, support is provided for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and the Aircraft Engineering processes (aircraft development processes). In this context, the PLM Service Transition organisation unit of the department focuses on service use and service availability for the aircraft development departments. Efficient communication with regard to the content and use of the current tools is a key factor in this respect.

The start date is flexible.

Your responsibilities will include:
– Investigate how web techniques and Sharepoint can be used to distribute and promote information in line with corporate standards and ways of working
– Assess the suitability of reporting and publishing technologies based on MS Office products, Sharepoint and Intranet (Webdesign)
– Actively work with all the stakeholders to define and agree solutions
– Design, align and implement solutions according to agreed definitions
 

We are looking for candidates with the following skills:
– Enrolled student within Information Technology, Communication, Social Media, Marketing or similar field of study
– Experience in IT technology, mainly Sharepoint in combination with MS Office products; good knowledge within MS Office (especially Excel, macro programming)
– German: fluent/negotiation level
– English: fluent/negotiation level

Hamburg is the headquarters of the management of Airbus in Germany and with some 12,000 employees the largest Airbus site in Germany. The Hamburg site’s activities focus on the following competences: cabin development center, development and production of the forward and aft fuselage sections as well as equipment of the fuselage sections with all flight-essential systems for the entire Airbus fleet. One of the three final assembly lines for the A320 family aircraft (A318, A319, A320, A321) is based in Hamburg. After their assembly, the aircraft are delivered to customers all over the world. Among the activities carried out in Germany are also the cabin definition, interior furnishing, painting and delivery to customers in Europe and the Middle East of the Airbus fleet’s flagship, the A380.
The Hamburg site boasts many years of experience in the overall process chain, from structural assembly and equipment installation through to final assembly and painting.
