Communication Manager (m/f)

Overview

We are searching for a Communication Manager (m/f), who is highly motivated to become an ambassador for SCA and our corporate identity. The Communication Manager is responsible for implementing communication activities and communication plans applying various communications channels, tools and media (e.g. intranet, magazines, conferences) to increase employee awareness and knowledge of activities affecting the employees within the Business Unit(s). The Communication Manager supports the implementation of corporate and Business Unit(s) policies and plans. He/she will be part of our European Communications Network and report into the Communications Director Personal Hygiene Europe and will be based in our office near Munich.

Main Tasks

  • Supports the implementation and continuous follow up of internal and external corporate branding initiatives and Business Unit(s) communications plans
  • Contributes to the development and mix optimization of internal communication tools and channels to improve lines of communication within the organization
  • Manages and coordinates internal communications flow through effective media channels to reach defined audiences and to meet specific program objectives, in close cooperation with other Business Units (incl. alignment of postings)
  • Supports Best Practice Sharing within the Business Unit(s)
  • Supports implementation of communications mix and roll-out of plans for various media channels within the Business Unit(s) (including external digital media)
  • Gathers, edits and writes news stories in line with editorial strategy
  • Supports country communication activities if needed

Experience and background requirements

  • Experience working with Retail Panel data and systems (Nielsen Answers, Nitro etc.)
  • At least 3 years work experience (within relevant field in the FMCG industry) with good understanding of FMCG industry, key players and trends
  • Analytical skills and ability to connect and analyze information, draw possible conclusions and communicate effectively
  • Excellent skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (English), verbally and in writing
  • Drive to maintain deadlines and deliver to schedules
  • University degree, preferably in Business Administration or equivalent studies
