Expert Project Management Online & Social Media (m/f)

focusing on international online media

Job Description

• Strategic advice and coordination of online and social media communications for Corporate Headquarters, the business areas and regional headquarters
• Concept and implementation of internal and external online media for ThyssenKrupp (incl. RFQ/briefing/cooperation with agencies, platform and project management, test management and quality assurance, etc.)
• Business demand management of requirements from the Corporate Functions, business areas and regional headquarters for the development of Groupwide online and social media systems/tools/applications
• Reviewing/ensuring compliance with the corporate design and brand identity in local,  internal and external online communications
• General project management/realization of special projects throughout the area of online & social media management (internal and external online media)

Specific Job Duties

• You have a university degree in communications/media studies (ideally majoring in online communications/online media), business studies, economics or a comparable subject
• At least 5 years’ professional experience in operating and strategic communications and online management
• Several years’ practical experience in the development and management of international online projects (multi-project management in internal and external communications)
• You are well-versed in the areas of online and social media, mobile, online marketing
• Wide-ranging experience in the area of online demand management and technology (CMS, applications, tools)
• Several years’ practical experience in managing service providers/agencies
• You possess writing and design expertise in the area of online & social media
• Ideally experienced in B2B areas and intercultural projects
• Excellent communications, conceptual and presentation skills
• Experience in the preparation of professional management documentation
• Good command of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
• You have an independent, focused and team-oriented working style and display a high degree of personal initiative, commitment and flexibility
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Confidence in an international corporate context, willingness to undertake domestic and international travel
• You enjoy working in a highly dynamic environment and practice a hands-on mentality
• You constantly seek improvements (“how can we make this even better”) and are a strong team player and networker
• You are decisive, courteous, engaging, have integrity and a loyal personality
