We offer a full-service managed solution as well as a self-service solution for the majority of the large spenders on the platform. We work with all kinds of advertisers– including large brands & agencies, social gaming companies, and ecommerce sites such as recognizable brands: MGM Resorts International, Audi, LG, Disney, Groupon, Coca-Cola, Amazon, Netflix, Supercell, Gree, OMD, Starcom and much more.

The London office is comprised of our Director of Client Services, Strategic Sales and Account Management team members. This person will report to the Director of Client Services and Country Manager, Germany and will be located in our Munich office.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Social Media Account Manager is charged with overseeing the day-to-day client and campaign management for a portfolio of AdParlor’s advertisers. The individual in this position works to understand the client’s business needs as well as building and managing their ad campaigns using the AdParlor full serve technology platform. Primary duties include:

  1. Advertiser Management & Growth: Manage the day-to-day relationships of a portfolio of medium to large sized clients by driving value with strategic direction, audience targeting,  and budget/spend optimization while analyzing and improving campaign performance, revenue and P&L of all assigned accounts. This  position will partner with the Account Executive team to identify and execute growth opportunities with existing advertisers.
  2. Product Development Support: Coordination with the product team in order to inform product improvements and needs. These improvements will include, but are not limited to, reporting growth and data automation utilizing Excel and PowerPoint.
  3. Establish Social Industry Relationships & Knowledge: Staying on top of all best practices for ad creation and targeting, understanding the competition and ever changing client goals within social advertising industry. Maintain a strong understanding within the Facebook & Twitter Ads Marketplace to increase your expertise in the space and therefore allowing you to take a consultative approach with clients.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Identify new advertiser opportunities and follow through the complete sales cycle
  • Travel 2-3 times per quarter

CANDIDATE OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will be an inspiring and confident leader with at least:

  • 2-3 years of recent media-buying and trafficking experience in the online advertising industry
  • Demonstrated experience in account management and customer service
  • Experience researching and analyzing data from multiple sources
  • Proven track record in meeting deadlines and commitments
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in additional languages a plus
  • Knowledge and usage of saleforce.com a plus

The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following abilities:

  • Communication (written & oral): Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish, develop and maintain internal and external business relationships; Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Resourceful: The ability to  make independent decisions by finding solutions and delivering results within a rapid changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture; Utilize strong strategic and critical thinking skills to grasp the big picture and turn it into action.
  • Organized: Able to work independently and manage numerous accounts and campaigns simultaneously; Must be able to prioritize daily, weekly and monthly tasks and possess a “sense of urgency” to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Team Player: Excel in being a strong individual contributor with the ability to work collaboratively with peers.
