We are looking for a

Regional Communication Manager Social Media (m/f)

• Working with global and regional business units and in-country stakeholders to develop communications strategies that prioritize and advance key business objectives across the region
• Partnering with the Regional Vice President, MSD Animal Health country leaders and country communications leaders to set external and internal communications strategies and ensure alignment with MSD Animal Health & Global Communications
• Enhancing the visibility and reputation of MSD Animal Health with key stakeholders in the EURAM region
• Partnering with MSD Animal Health policy in EURAM
• Managing day-to-day decisions guiding communications within the region
• Ensuring adherence to standard global communications practices for media relations, employee communications, reputation management, compliance and issues management
• Communicating consistently and seamlessly across multiple languages, countries, divisions and functions to ensure that employees understand corporate goals and strategy
• Driving the adoption of best practices and standard communications processes in the countries;
• Successfully coaching and guiding country-based communications colleagues within a matrix environment
• Proactively develops Communications talent within the region
• Acting as the MSD Animal Health representative on EU industry association communication councils

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field
• Profound related communications experience, including social media experience
• Strong proficiency in spoken and written English, and a preference for a second language that is relevant to the EURAM region
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage external issues in the media
• Effectively communicate across multiple languages and cultures
• Demonstrate good understanding of the business and regulatory environment in which MSD competes
• Exhibit initiative, strategic thinking and creative problem solving in response to the communications challenges and opportunities faced by the company within the region
• Effectively coach, counsel and build teams within the matrix environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
