Social Media Manager (f/m)

Your responsibilities:

• Design, control, monitoring and optimization of Bastei Entertainment’s national and international social media activities, as well as development of content strategies
• Development of exceptional communication activities that can be used to enhance brand or product images
• Editorial work, such as writing blog articles and social media posts, as well as maintaining and supervising Bastei Entertainment’s landing page
• Design and proactive maintenance of media contacts, as well as contact with bloggers and opinion leaders
• Responsibility of the social media budgets, incl. budgeting, performance analysis, and evaluation of the individual communication activities
• Suitable preparation and presentation of all activities and the results obtained
• Control of partially international external agencies and service providers

Required skills:

• University degree in economics / business administration, communications, media , or marketing
• At least 2 years of work experience in social media and content marketing
• Sound knowledge in the fields of social media, community, blog, content marketing and media work online / offline – ideally for the US-American market
• High quality of writing and experience with editorial work
• Proficiency in German, fluent proficiency in spoken and written English, preferably at native speaker level
• Creativity, commitment, resilience, flexibility and team spirit
• Photoshop skills preferred
